1. 24-Hours Toll-Free Hotline Service

1-800-88-0202 is 24-hour toll-free hotline service for emergency assistance or any inquiries in regards to PETA membership.
To facilitate prompt emergency assistance, members are advised to provide the following information to our Customer Service Representative:

Accident Assistance :
- name
- vehicle registration number
- type and colour of vehicle
- accurate location of accident, to furnish street name and prominent landmarks, if any
- any other vital information, eg. whether anyone is seriously injured and requiring immediate medical attention or the need to relay any important message to a third party, etc.

Breakdown Assistance :

- name
- membership number
- vehicle registration number
- vehicle make, model, year & colour
- description of breakdown problem & suspected cause of breakdown
- accurate location of breakdown, to furnish street name and prominent landmarks, if any
- any other important information, eg. the need to relay news of breakdown and / or postponement of appointment to a third party, etc.

2. Free Nationwide Breakdown Towing

Members requesting for this service are required to furnish Customer Service Centre with relevant information (as indicated in benefit 1). To facilitate membership verification, members are advised to produce their membership card to the attending PETA Service Team personnel.

Free breakdown towing for PETA members is applicable only if member’s registered vehicle is towed to any Appointed PETA Panels.

Should a member’s registered vehicle be towed to a non PETA panels at the request of the member, the member will be charged and responsible for the full payment of towing fees to be levied by the respective PETA Panel centre for the total distance traveled – at non-member rate ( ie. at respective PETA Panel’s normal towing rate ).

  3. Free 24-Hour Nationwide Accident Towing

For insurance claims repair performed by PETA Panels, members will not be charged on towing fees.
Members will have the benefit of PETA Panel towing personnel at their service 24-hours a day.

4. Free Insurance Claims Services

Understanding members’ time constraint and mental frame of mind especially after an accident, and not forgetting other inconveniences that come along following an accident PETA helps ease members’ burden by making sure that members get to enjoy hassle-free insurance claims submission by doing it all for members. This is applicable only for first party insurance claim. PETA will only provide free advice to third party claim.

5. Emergency Battery Delivery Service

In events of emergencies whereby members are unable to start their vehicles due to battery failure, members may call the nearest PETA Panel center for free battery delivery and installation services. Members only need to pay for the battery by cash payment

6. Minor On-The-Spot Breakdown Repair Services

Members requesting for this service are required to furnish the nearest PETA Panel centre with relevant information as elaborated under item 1 of the Member’s Benefits.

Prior to sending personnel to attend to the breakdown repair, troubleshooting via telephone guidance may be given to members if it is reckoned that the repair remedy is a simple one. Members are required to produce their membership card to PETA Service Team personnel attending to the breakdown repair for verification purpose to ensure validity of membership. Members are advised to ensure due renewal of membership as PETA Panel personnel shall not be obliged to attend to breakdown repairs where membership has expired.
The scope of breakdown repair services is confined to minor repairs and services such as tyre changing, jump-starting, battery replacement and other non-tedious tasks.

The attending PETA Service Team personnel has the absolute right to determine and restrict the maximum time limit for an attempt at on-the-spot breakdown repair. The time taken includes time taken to secure the necessary parts replacement. If the PETA Service Team personnel feels necessary, the member will be advised to have the vehicle brought (by towing or otherwise ) to nearest PETA Panel for further inspection.

As the breakdown repair job is performed off-site and primarily to remobilise the stalled vehicle, PETA does not guarantee the quality of the repair job. Hence, members are recommended to have the vehicle sent to the nearest appointed PETA Panels for more detailed inspection and to enable the repair job to be more properly attended to for better quality repair.

Any part or parts so replaced, including refilling of fuel, will be at the expense of the member who immediately upon such services being rendered is required to effect cash payment or make any alternative payment arrangement acceptable to the attending PETA Service Team.

7. Hotel Discounts

9. Free Transmission Of Information During Emergencies

During events of emergency when members are involved in road accidents or when members’ registered vehicles are stalled, members may seek PETA to help relay important information or messages to family members, employers, business associates, friends, hospital, etc. In such event, members are requested to provide clear and specific details of message, including recipient’s name, contact number(s), relationship with member, brief and accurate message text. Just dial
the Toll Free Hotline Number and speak to the Customer Service Representative.

Whilst all effort will be made to forward members’ messages, PETA cannot guarantee or is obliged to ensure the successful or accurate transmission of messages or the correct identity of recipient and therefore shall not in any way or form be held liable for any form of loss suffered by members resulting from wrong, inaccurate or delay in transmission of messages or transmission of message to the wrong party.

10. Free 24-Hour Post Accident Assistance

In the aftermath of an accident most will feel lost and dazed and unsure of what to do. With PETA, members involved in vehicle accidents will have the benefit of PETA Service Team personnel to assist them get over the shock of the accident as well as helping to attend to necessary procedures such as the lodging of police reports or any other form of assistance required – 24 hours a day.

11. Preferential Pricing On Selected Parts & Services

Members will be accorded preferential pricing over non-member customers on selected range of spare parts and services on promotional campaign basis. Panel centres that are found to be operating against the spirit of PETA Panel centre guidelines and overcharging members will be dealt with accordingly. Hence, members are encouraged to provide feedback to PETA on any occasion of unfair pricing by its panel centres.

12. Emergency Gasoline Delivery

Where a registered vehicle are immobilised due to out of gasoline, PETA is providing free gasoline delivery. Members only need to pay for the gasoline by cash payment

13. Lockout Assistance

PETA will provide assistance to member in the event where member is unable to access their registered vehicle due to lost or locked in keys. Applicable to all the below conditions:

a. membership is still valid
b. this benefit is extended to member with registered vehicle only

Member or the member’s representative may also be required to sign an indemnity, releasing PETA and its panel from any liability should damage be caused by such forced entry.

Where necessary a locksmith’s attendance will be arranged at member’s expense. The service will be provided whenever is available. Back to top

14. Free Vehicle-Body Wash

This benefit given to member’s registered vehicle which is serviced or repaired (any value not less than RM300) at any PETA Panels. Back to top

15. Post-Accident Emergency Transportation

This benefit comes in most handy and is extended to provide members with emergency transportation when a member’s vehicle is immobilised after an accident and the member needs to rush from the scene of the accident for an urgent appointment.

With this benefit, a member need not miss what could well be an urgent and crucial business meeting or an important flight to catch or even picking up the little pampered child from school.

This benefit is extended and limited to a destination within a maximum total distance of 100 km (to and fro) from the scene of accident. It is also subject to availability of transportation vehicles from PETA Panel centres for such purpose and further subject to the urgency of such transport requirement and other factors such as location of accident. While PETA endeavors to provide such emergency services, it cannot guarantee the ultimate provision of the same for all cases.

16. Alternative Accommodation Benefit

PETA will reimburse the cost for alternative accommodations to member should the registered vehicle become disabled (breakdown / accident). The reimbursement schemes are as follows:

PETA Gold – reimbursement of RM100 per case and limited to 2 cases per year

Applicable to all the below conditions:

a. membership is still valid
b. this benefit is extended to member with registered vehicle only
c. incident occurred at a distance of more than 100km from registered home address
d. registered vehicle cannot be repaired within 24 hours as determined by PETA panels
e. vehicle must be serviced or repaired by PETA panel.
f. submission of reimbursement form
g. submission of original receipt from hotel
h. submission of original receipt of repair cost from PETA panels

* Member opting for this privilege will not benefit Alternative Transportation Benefit (item 17).

17. Alternative Transportation Benefit

PETA member will be given special discounted rate for car rental from PETA appointed car rental service providers. PETA will also provide cash benefit for alternative transportation (car rental) to member should the vehicle become disabled (breakdown / accident). The reimbursement schemes are as follows:

PETA Gold – reimbursement of RM50 per case and limited to 2 cases per year

Applicable to all the below conditions:

a. membership is still valid
b. this benefit is extended to member with registered vehicle only
c. incident occurred at a distance of more than 100km from
registered home address
d. registered vehicle can not be repaired within 24 hours as
determined by PETA panel
e. vehicle must be serviced or repaired by PETA panel.
f. car rental are provided by PETA appointed car rental service
provider
g. submission of Transportation Cash Benefit form (sent to
member by mail or fax)
h. submission of original receipt from appointed car rental service
provider
i. submission of original receipt of repair cost from PETA panels

* Member opting for this privilege will not benefit Alternative Transportation Benefit (item16).

18. Lockout

PETA will reimburse to a maximum of RM50 per incident per year for the cost of locksmith service should member is unable to access their registered vehicle due to lost or locked in keys.

Applicable to all the below conditions:

a. membership is still valid
b. this benefit is extended to member with registered vehicle only

Member or the member’s representative may also be required to sign an indemnity, releasing PETA Service Team and PETA Panels from any liability should damage be caused by such forced entry.

20. Alternative Transportation Benefit

d. registered vehicle can not be repaired within 24 hours as determined by PETA panel
m. vehicle must be serviced or repaired by PETA panel.
n. car rental are provided by PETA appointed car rental service provider
o. submission of Transportation Cash Benefit form (sent to member by mail or fax)
p. submission of original receipt from appointed car rental service
